The resort area of St. Thomas has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Red Hook nearby will take you to nearby St. John most of which is a gorgeous preserved US National Park. Lots of shopping and water activities abound. It can be warm in summer but winter offers an escape from winter. There are some direct non-stop flights.
